Why should your dog be groomed regularly?

Regular grooming can prevent problems such as excessive shedding, skin
and paw disorders, painful mats, and bad breath, as well as help you identify
any other underlying problems that might go unnoticed without the extra attention.

The caring professionals at Brackney's Pet Salon can provide an array of grooming services to ensure your pet is happy, healthy and looks great!

All of our salon pricing is based on the breed type, size/weight, and coat type
of each dog. Our base price quote could increase depending on the dog's
coat condition, desired haircut, and the dog's difficulty when handling.

Keeping Your Pets Safe:

In an effort to help keep illness from spreading to your pets and our own, all dogs must be current on the
required vaccinations and have not shown any signs of illness within the past 30 days prior their visit.

Rebecca Brackney is a certified master groomer, trade instructor and certified animal behavior consultant. Her students are taught in private and semi-private apprentice-type sessions.

Occasionally we will have a client tell us they do not want our students working on their dog. We completely understand and will honor a client's wishes.  However, to put your mind at ease we want you to know that we love your dog as if they were our own and will not allow anyone to handle your pet who we feel is not capable.

Our students' “hands on” learning comes by verbal instruction, lectures, videos, text books, and shadowing instructors. Written and verbal proficiency tests are given daily. We would never allow a student to work on your pet until we are comfortable with their knowledge and skills in the task given. A student must pass proficiency tests before they are given a client’s dog to work on. Students are always supervised by a certified professional any time they handle a dog, this includes Rebecca’s personal dogs.
